Delving into the depths of a single image of nature by magnifying the structure to the pure abstraction of the form, these non-objective images take on 'multiple perspectives.' Throughout all my paintings is the use of richly layered transparencies, often upwards of 20 coats at different viscosities, to create intensely rich shadows in contrast to highlights that dance off the surface. The viewer is immediately seduced into the myriad of complexities.
